Modesty!
Walking down the high street I can't help but notice other girls my own age...........it concerns me. The word 'modesty' does not exist in our culture today. Shorts that look like pants, tops that are so low you might as well not wear anything, and make up that makes young girls look like Barbie. Imagine if women from 100 years ago could visit us...I honestly think they would be so shocked they would faint! I have talked to some people who say 'It doesn't really affect anybody...it is just a little fun!' well I have some news for you.......it makes a BIG difference. Boys will start to see you as an object...a thing to use and then abandon. It can get you into a whole lot of trouble. I am not saying that we have to dress like frumps, just dress in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. When I get dressed in the morning I think 'Would I wear this in front of Jesus?' and if the answer is no then I simply don't wear it! I suggest the shortest thing to wear is just above the knee, and I do not recommend showing any cleavage. I personally don't like to wear any make up, but I am not saying make up is wrong. Make up is fine, as long as you don't overdo it! A Bible verse that springs to mind is "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel..." 1 Timothy 2:9. We must be wary of how we dress.....think about this and take it in to consideration! God Bless!

Welcome to my Blog!
I have been praying and asking God whether or not I should create a blog. I have been led to create this blog to share with you my life, convictions, and walk with God. I hope I get to know you better and you enjoy reading my posts! I guess first of all you will probably want to know a bit about me........so I better tell you some!
I am a 15 year old Bible believing Christian girl, trying to live my life in a Godly manner. Jesus is the first and foremost in my life and my whole world revolves around Him. I live in southern England with my beautiful mother, my lovely father, and the cutest baby brother Felix! I enjoy photography, reading, knitting, embroidery, sewing, climbing trees, and taking walks. I have been home-schooled for 3 1/2 years, and am following the ACE curriculum. 17 months ago my baby brother joined our family....he has brought such joy to our household! I am a homemaker in training, and love nothing more than to spend time with my family. I am an animal lover and have my own Lakeland x Border Terrier.........who is the cutest dog ever!
I hope you will join me on my journey and share with me my musings!
